Many thanks to all who came
to campus on Saturday, May 5
from 9-11 a.m. for a variety of
clean-up, painting and gardening
projects around campus.
So much was accomplished:
- Trash Pick-up inside and outside the walls of Girard, sponsored by Keep Philadelphia Beautiful
- School vehicle car wash
- Working in the Girard College garden with City Harvest
- Planting flowers around campus
- Painting a mural at the HUM (student center) with Philadelphia Mural Arts
Donating BLOOD: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Red Cross needs your help!

Training to become a Graduation Coach -
As Mayor of Philadelphia, Michael Nutter has committed his administration to increase the city’s high school graduation rate
to 80% by 2015 and to double the percentage of college graduates from 18% to 36% by 2018.
