We will need several items as part of our admissions review process. This includes, but is NOT limited to:

• Student Photo
• Parent Questionnaire
• Last 2 years of School Records

• Teacher Recommendation(s)
• Tax Return Form (1040 – to determine financial eligibility.

If we determine that your scholar is eligible, we will contact you to schedule their Entrance Assessment.

There are two additional steps in our admissions process if your scholar passes the thresholds required for Reading and Math: Shadow Day and the Family Intake Interview. Shadow Day offers an excellent opportunity for students to experience what it’s like to be a Girard College student for the day while the Family Intake is meant to be less formal and is used as a way for us to get a better understanding of your family dynamic, necessary support services, and/or household and financial hardships.

Upon completing your scholar’s application checklist, their file will be sent to your Admissions Committee for Acceptance Review.

No matter the outcome of your scholar’s application, we will personally call you to inform you of our admissions decision.
