Join us for the annual Spring Concert and Art Show on May 15, the annual golf outing, President’s Reception and Founder’s Day Awards Celebration Dinner Program and Reunion on May 16, and a full day of festivities on May 17 as we honor the life and legacy of Stephen Girard. On Sunday, May 18, the inaugural Charles Warren “Stan” Stanley ’67 Memorial 5K Walk/Run will be held on the Girard College campus. This event, sponsored by the Class of 1967, is being organized by the Girard College Alumni Association and Girard College.

Inaugural Charles Warren Stanley ’67 Memorial 5K Walk/Run ~ Sunday, May 18

All are invited to participate in the inaugural Charles Warren “Stan” Stanley ’67 Memorial 5K Walk/Run on Sunday, May 18, on the Girard College campus. This event, sponsored by the Class of 1967, is being organized by the Girard College Alumni Association and Girard College. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.

The registration fee for participants 18 and up is $50 and includes a commemorative race T-shirt. Participants under 18 are free. Register online, and please select your shirt size when you fill out the form.

A proud Philadelphia native, Stan was a devoted member of the Hum’s cross country and track teams during his time at Girard. He was known not only for his athletic talent, but also for his dedication, team spirit, and unwavering loyalty to his classmates. This event is a tribute to his legacy, and an opportunity to come together as a community to celebrate his life and support Girard athletics.
