Girard College has joined the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association with full membership starting in the 2021-2022 school year.

The move into PAISAA opens the opportunity to compete against similar types and sizes of schools, as well as provides greater diversity in postseason competitions. Girard will continue to compete in interscholastic athletics as a member of the Penn-Jersey Athletic Association.

“It’s an exciting time for the athletes and coaches of Girard College as we look toward new opportunities and competition in the upcoming school year,” said Corey Durkin, Physical Education teacher and acting Athletic Director.

After a year with very limited opportunities for team sports, the Girard College community is happy to share the 2021-22 schedules for Soccer, Basketball, Baseball and Softball. Go Cavaliers!
