Plan your Visit

Founder’s Hall Museum is self guided and visitors are welcome to stop in during open hours for as long or as little as they’d like.
No appointment is necessary during open hours, but because Girard College is an active school, all visitors must check in with security upon entering the campus.
General admission and parking are free.
Weekday Hours: Every Wednesday-Friday 10-4.

Founder’s Hall Museum hosts a monthly weekend open house, where visitors can enjoy special themed highlights and activities, along with the opportunity for a self-guided visit to the museum.
Monday, January 19, 1:30-5:30 , MLK Day
Saturday, February 7, 10-2. Black History Month
Founder’s Hall Museum is on the campus of Girard College, located at 2101 S College Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19121. (Intersection of S College Ave and Corinthian Ave)
Parking is available on campus. We are also located on SEPTA Bus Routes 15 & 33 and a 1/2 mile west of the Girard Ave station on the Broad Street subway line.

Founder’s Hall is a historic structure and is wheelchair accessible only on the first floor, via an exterior wheelchair lift. Stairs are unavoidable to access the museum exhibits, which are located on the second floor, but modified presentations are available for groups.
Food and beverages are not available at Founder’s Hall, but there are many options in the Fairmount and Brewerytown neighborhoods, ranging from coffee shops to fine dining. Visitors can also picnic in the nearby Corinthian Gardens.
