Student Work Program

The Girard Early Career Explorer Paid Internship (GECE-PI) is an opportunity for students to earn extra money while living on campus, and gain important preparation for their future in the workforce. The goal is to provide students with real life work experience and an opportunity for students to gain new skills and knowledge that connect to their future career interests. Through the GECE-PI, students ages 16 and older can apply to on campus jobs in diverse departments such as athletics, heath and food services, maintenance, and security. Students serve in their positions 8-16 hours per week, receive mentoring from their department supervisor, and participate in monthly training sessions to increase their professional habits.
