Who Should Apply?
Grade-Level, Age, Residency & Household Eligibility
- Students must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Students must currently reside in a household headed by a single biological
parent OR guardian. Eligible students CANNOT currently live with both biological parents in the same household. - Students must be at least 5 years old and enrolled in a kindergarten program, and/or applying for grades 1st through 10th.
- Students must be able to live on campus 5 days a week, from Sunday evening through Friday afternoon.
- Parents or legal guardians must consistently meet the student’s weekend transportation expectation with Sunday evening drop-offs between 5:30-7:00 pm and Friday afternoon pick-ups between 3:15-6:00 pm.
Academic, Attendance, Behavior & Character Eligibility
Desirable students should demonstrate the following:

- No negative disciplinary records including school suspensions.
- Attendance record of 95% or higher (no more than 9 absences), with fewer than 50% of absences being unexcused.
Financial Eligibility
Girard College serves families with limited financial means. Families are financially eligible if annual income does not exceed the thresholds listed below:

Girard College has limited support services. If your child has an IEP, 504 Plan and/or Behavioral Support Plan, their most recent reports must be submitted for evaluation.
