Ms. Sylvia Bastani currently serves as the Chief Advancement Officer at Girard College. Sylvia is an experienced fundraising professional, consultant, executive coach, and innovation expert with more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit management. Sylvia has raised more than $750M during her career. Sylvia serves on the Board of Directors on the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ National Foundation of Philanthropy. She is also a member of the Advisory Council for Drexel University’s School of Nursing and Health Professions and The Forum of Executive Women. She is the author and co-editor of The Healthcare Nonprofit: Keys to Effective Management (Health Administration Press, 2019), which is used at colleges and universities throughout the US. Sylvia holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
